This internship position is a full‑time role for a fixed duration of six months. While the role requires full‑time commitment, the team offers reasonable schedule flexibility to support individual needs, in coordination with the people manager. The program is intended to provide a focused, immersive industry experience aligned with Intel’s professional work environment and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support SoC (System on a Chip) integration and verification activities, including debugging and simulation of microarchitectures at full-chip level
  • Participate actively in hands-on projects that align with Intel's business goals, spanning product development and innovation
  • Learn and apply RTL/logic development using System Verilog on FPGA and emulation platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive results
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to build a strong foundation for your future career
  • Utilize AI tools for automation of day-to-day verification and debugging tasks
  • Apply functional verification methodologies including UVM frameworks

Qualifications:

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Actively pursuing a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineer, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4+ months of experience or knowledge in:

    • Digital design fundamentals and computer architecture concepts.

    • RTL/logic development using System Verilog.

    • With scripting and programming languages such as Python and use of AI tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ months of knowledge or experience in:

    • Digital design using FPGAs or Emulation.

    • Functional verification using System Verilog

    • With AI tools for automation of day-to-day work.

    • With debug methodologies for microarchitecture and simulation.
