The Role
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Services Project Management team. In this role, you'll work closely with our valued customers to identify and implement unique solutions to both new and existing challenges, delivering an exceptional Verafin experience. You'll embrace opportunities to tackle requests that fall outside our standard offerings, turning them into potential avenues for innovative and impactful work. Join us and be a part of a team that thrives on creativity, problem-solving, and customer success!
You’ll fit right in if you’re collaborative, customer-focused, and energized by solving problems that don’t always come with a playbook.
What You’ll Do
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation projects, building strong relationships and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and deliver implementation projects by defining scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables — adjusting plans as needs evolve.
• Manage project execution end to end, including tasks, resources, schedules, documentation, and risk mitigation.
• Communicate project progress clearly and consistently to customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by partnering with other project managers to enhance tools, processes, and methodologies.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience managing customer-facing projects involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong ability to manage customer expectations and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
• Clear, confident communicator who collaborates effectively with technical and operational teams at all levels.
Nice to Have
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
• Experience working in fintech, SaaS, or a regulated industry.
• Exposure to process improvement or non-standard implementation work.
This position can be located in St. John’s or Toronto, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (3 days a week in office), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
