Vendor Manager
 

What your role as a Vendor Manager will involve:

As a Vendor Manager within Ingram Micro Cloud UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance and strategic alignment with AWS. You will be responsible for developing and executing joint business and GTM plans, managing day-to-day vendor engagement, and monitoring performance. This includes organising and leading Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic vendors.

You will collaborate across departments—Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success—to ensure smooth execution and profitable growth. You’ll also liaise with Global and EMEA stakeholders to align strategies, optimise resources, and share best practices.

Occasional travel will be required for meetings, events, and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a positive internal and customer experience while maximising productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Increase awareness and activity through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and gaps to generate effective, profitable solutions.
  • Make data-driven decisions aligned with company metrics and TENETs.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach and proactively improve service delivery.
  • Think strategically to identify broader business opportunities.
  • Collaborate across departments and engage in constructive dialogue to drive business benefits.
  • Share and absorb knowledge to enhance team performance.
  • Adapt between day-to-day operations and strategic thinking.
  • Navigate complex matters with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Attend ad hoc customer meetings and off-site presentations.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in stakeholder management or a related function.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Commercial management experience.
  • Knowledge of the distribution channel and competitive landscape.
  • Understanding of AWS IaaS products and services, plus awareness of competitors like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience working across cultural boundaries.
