Vehicle Asset and Finance Analyst

Job Description

To provide back-office support to Vehicle & Asset Finance with timely and accurate reconciliations, processing applications & payouts, attend to customer queries and assist frontline staff as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily updated reconciliations of accounting entries (e.g. Sundry debtors, Sundry creditors, VAT input & output). 
  • Preparation and posting of entries in the General Ledger. Capturing of entries and new facilities in the loan management system.
  • Process instalment payments and reconcile outstanding amounts. 
  • Follow up on all outstanding reconciliation items and ensure timely resolution.
  • Preparation of transfers for payout of approved deals.
  • Preparation and sending of tax invoices for VAT purposes.
  • Ensure insurance reconciliations are tracked and updated.
  • Ensure insurance renewals are processed for all active facilities on the portfolio.
  • Support frontline staff with origination of credit applications.

  • Excellent attention to detail Ability to work under minimal supervision

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits and passes in English and Mathematics.  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.
