Ferguson is hiring for a Virtual Design & Construction Modeler.

Location: Ideally, this is a Hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA HQ. Hybrid Schedule is 3 days in Office (usually T, W, Th) and 2 days Remote (usually M, F). We will consider Remote for the right person who is not located in the Newport News, VA area.

Responsibilities

• Model all trade layout per contract documents
• Work closely with VDC Specialist to resolve clashes
• Participate in coordination meetings
• Follow BIM processes and standards
• Produce shop drawings and other drafting deliverables
• Follow the BIM Execution Plan and internal coordination process
• Building/Manipulating Revit Families
• Tracking any VDC issues throughout the coordination process

Qualifications

• 1-3 years or more of related work experience preferred
• Experience with the Autodesk Construction Cloud (AutoCAD, Revit, Glue, Navisworks Manage, etc.) and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to learn mechanical & plumbing construction practices and understanding of Building Codes for Mechanical and Plumbing/Piping Systems

Pay Range:

$19.47 - $31.74

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
