Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled VB.NET Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications built on the VB.NET platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications using VB.NET within the .NET Framework.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, BA, and project managers.
  • Integrate and manage SQL Server databases.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing applications.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with VB.NET.
  • Strong understanding of .NET Framework, WinForms or WebForms.
  • Experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Good English communication. English official certificates (IELTS/TOEIC/TOEFL) are preferred.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience migrating VB.NET applications to C# or .NET Core.
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET, RESTful APIs, or CI/CD tools.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
