We’re looking for skilled VAT Analyst (EMEA) to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure full compliance with VAT regulations while providing expert guidance on all VAT-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing first-line reviews of VAT reporting for multinational companies and its affiliates in different EU Member States.
Coordinating, consolidating, and submitting statistical/Intrastat returns for VAT compliance.
Advising and guiding strategic projects and business flows to ensure VAT compliance and avoidance of VAT costs.
Collaborating with accounting teams and tax functions, including Customs & Trade, Transfer Pricing, and Corporate Income Tax.
Performing Indirect Tax Controls for securing proper execution of indirect tax compliance processes and systems.
Monitoring indirect tax law changes to determine impact on the business operations and implement required changes.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of VAT regulations
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles
Ability to analyze complex VAT data especially considering the Principal Structure
Ability to handle large amounts of data
Proficiency in Excel
Experience in SAP is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred
Fluency in English
