Who we are looking for
Do you bring a track record of hands-on leadership and operational excellence in an electromechanical shop environment? Do you have experience as a Value Stream Manager (VSM) building and leading a high-production facility from the ground up? In this role, you’ll be instrumental in standing up an innovative manufacturing operation—designing the production organization, hiring and developing a high-performing team, determining capital requirements to support breakthrough growth, and establishing critical supply chain partnerships. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day activities of a cross-functional Value Stream team that operates in a fast-paced, high-output environment. You’ll also develop and drive operational strategies to support rapid volume growth and drive continuous improvement across the plant. Success in this role demands a hands-on leadership approach, a deep understanding of electromechanical processes, methods, equipment, tools and fluency in Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly impactful role where you can take initiative and solve complex problems in a high growth, collaborative atmosphere. The electromechanical/drones VSM will directly manage production supervisor, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers / technicians and the other resources required to deliver value to our customers. The VSM will also work closely with the sourcing, engineering, quality, and Lean teams.
