JOB SUMMARY
As one of Avetta’s early Value Engineers, you will be at the forefront of building and scaling a function that is redefining how we demonstrate and deliver value to our customers. Working alongside experienced leaders and trusted advisors, you will help expand the reach and impact of value engineering across the organization. You will play a critical role in developing, refining, and deploying frameworks, tools, and methodologies that quantify and communicate Avetta’s value — driving engagement, measuring impact, and integrating value into every client-facing asset. You will serve as a trusted advisor who helps senior customer stakeholders define the case for change, align on strategic priorities, and confidently make investment decisions. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment, and is passionate about making a measurable difference for our customers and our business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the adoption of value engineering practices across the sales, account management, and client success organizations by developing and deploying thoughtful assets, tools, and frameworks that empower trusted advisors and encourage voluntary engagement in value activities.
- Create, refine, and maintain processes and documentation to quantify and communicate the value of Avetta's solutions - including ROI models, cost analysis tools, and competitive benchmarks - ensuring these resources are integrated into core and client-facing assets such as proposal templates, business review presentations, risk snapshots, and supplier communications.
- Develop and manage sophisticated value models to support customers in evaluating solutions across diverse challenges, industries, and regions, with a focus on increasing the volume and impact of value-driven activities throughout the year.
- Collaborate with account teams, technical teams, and customers to frame complex business problems, focusing on cost optimization, performance improvements, and maximizing value.
- Lead structured value discovery sessions, workshops, and executive conversations to uncover business drivers, validate assumptions, and align-on measurable outcomes.
- Partner with customers throughout the sales cycle to tailor value assets, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations as a trusted advisor to support strategic decision-making, with clear accountability for influencing deal progression, expansions, and long-term customer value.
- Translate complex data analyses into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives, to support higher win rates, faster sales cycles, streamlined renewals, and more expansions. Own the end-to-end value narrative, ensuring insights are translated into stories that clearly articulate outcomes, trade-offs, and strategic impact.
- Partner closely with sales leaders, product, and marketing teams to align-on value-based selling strategies and create compelling, data-driven business cases that are embedded throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Stay informed about industry trends, key competitors, and market drivers to continuously refine value propositions and maintain Avetta's competitive advantage.
- Implement and manage automated or minimally manual methods to track asset usage and support activities - ensuring consistency with broader team tracking metrics.
- Contribute to the evolution and maturity of Avetta’s value engineering practice by continuously refining methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor team members and internal partners, sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration as the department grows.
- Domestic and international travel potential, at light to moderate frequency.
