This role blends real estate valuation expertise with emerging skills in data management, automation, and AI to enhance the precision and scalability of our valuation processes.
You’ll serve as a trusted analytical partner to Valuations leadership—managing complex valuation models, driving process innovation, and mentoring analysts—while contributing to Prologis’ digital transformation through data science and predictive analytics.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Valuation and Analysis
Build, maintain, and enhance asset and portfolio-level cash flow models for acquisitions, dispositions, and existing assets.
Support/Lead/Assist quarterly processes for obtaining and analyzing third-party valuation opinions on fund-owned assets.
Conduct in-depth analyses of market supply, demand, and pricing trends to support valuation conclusions.
Apply AI-based forecasting and modeling techniques to identify drivers of value and anticipate market movements.
Data Management and Automation
Partner with Data Science and IT teams to improve valuation data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and governance.
Design and maintain dashboards and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to communicate valuation insights.
Utilize programming and data tools (Python, R, SQL) to automate workflows and improve forecasting accuracy.
Help build AI agents to automate processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Asset Management, Research, Finance, and Capital Deployment teams to integrate valuation insights into broader business strategies.
Present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders across global teams.
Mentor analysts, providing technical and professional development guidance.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Identify opportunities to streamline and modernize valuation processes through technology and automation.
Support development of predictive analytics and automated valuation systems that align with Prologis’ digital strategy.
Contribute to enterprise initiatives in data modernization and AI adoption.
Building blocks for success
Required:
3+ years of relevant experience in real estate valuation, financial modeling, or investment analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling platforms (e.g., Argus Enterprise).
Strong understanding of financial concepts, valuation methodologies, and capital market fundamentals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with data management systems and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Sigma.
Familiarity with Python, R, or AI/ML frameworks for analytics and automation.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Knowledge of valuation methodologies (income, market, discounted cash flow).
Experience working with predictive analytics, data governance, or AI-assisted valuation systems.
Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
Proven ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.
Hiring Salary Range of: $114,000-$135,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
