[What the role is]
The UX traineeship position within the Transformation Office, focuses on user experience research and service optimisation to enhance citizen interactions with sports and recreation services. The trainee will develop competencies in user research, journey mapping, data analysis, and service design thinking whilst gaining experience translating user insights into actionable improvements.[What you will be working on]
• Gather and document user feedback through surveys and data collection to identify pain points across service touchpoints
• Develop detailed service journey maps to visualise citizen interactions with our services
• Perform analysis of user feedback to generate actionable insights for service improvement decisions
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and service optimisation
• Prepare research documentation and assist with implementing user-centred design solutions
[What we are looking for]
• Relevant degree qualification
• Strong analytical and research skills with interest in user experience and service design
• Good communication abilities and collaborative teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of user research methodologies and data collection tools
• Prior experience in user research, design thinking, or service improvement will be valued
