About the Team

You will be working on the Workday Design Systems, partnering directly with Engineering teams that build our patterns into the Workday Platform. Your role on the team will allow you to affect the experience for millions of Workday users worldwide. You will work with a team that is growing our Design System to deliver intuitive, attractive experiences by default in the Platform and focusing on creating modern patterns that scale across all modalities. About the Role

Workday was founded on a disruptive idea: to put people at the center of enterprise software. To deliver on this we are growing our Research and Design team. We have a design team of over 140 worldwide, made up of UX Researchers, Interaction Designers, Product Designers and Visual Designers.

We are looking for a UX Designer to join us and work alongside our internationally distributed Platform teams to innovate and deliver existing experiences for our users worldwide. About You

You have experience with enterprise application development

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of enterprise design experience preferably in software as a service industry.

  • Must provide a portfolio demonstrating a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces, and great UX (Please share Password)

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Open to a 50% flex-hybrid schedule, reporting to our Victoria or Vancouver offices.

Other Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Figma, Lovable, or other modern design and prototyping tools.

  • Strong Interaction Design skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with product managers and developers regarding product strategy.

  • Demonstrated User Experience (UX) Design expertise, driven by a desire to internalize customer experiences and improve them through meaningful design.

  • Proven ability in Stakeholder Influence and Cross-functional teamwork, using sincerity and strong communication to bring order to complex design challenges.

  • A commitment to Systems Thinking to help scale design solutions across enterprise software environments.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement 

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
