Starting Pay: $20.75/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium
B Shift/night shift Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am**
SUMMARY This position is responsible for the assisting the overall operation of production on their shift. The following list of responsibilities and requirements is not intended to be comprehensive and may be modified at any time by the Human Resource, in response to current business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as Raw Receiving, Load Out, and Feather Loader/Cook. Learns plant proper operating procedures and practices in each department. Assists in setting their individual performance goals and objectives with their Supervisor. Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties. Receives training in functions and operations of all departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater job opportunities. Attends company-sponsored training classes. Abides by all company Safety, QA and Human Resource policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 3 months of work history with one employer within the last 2 years listed on the application.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid Drivers Licenses. Must be able to obtain a PIT license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
SAFETY Keep work area clean and free of clutter(housekeeping); Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times; Use the correct tool for each job assignment; Report injury of oneself or coworker to management; Report job hazards immediately (correct immediately when possible) and document; Inspect all tools and materials for defects and safety issues; Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
WORK SCHEDULE Hours of work will vary depending on the needs and demands of the plant(s).

Shift are subject to periodic rotation every 8 weeks.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
NEW HIRE SIGN-ON Bonus: $3,000.00 sign-on bonus paid out $500.00 at 30 days. $1,000.00 paid out at 90 days and $1,500.00 paid out at 6 months.
