Job Description
Mission:
- Contribute to Product Economical and Technical performance, Client satisfaction and best in class Time to Market by leading the Upstream Strategy Function Team (Engineering, Procurement, Costing, Process) in close synergy with Ampere Europe USFT Leader, in particular.
Scope of action:
- Select, qualify and deploy new high-performance technologies for Proof-of-Concept evaluation, Investigating Chinese Tier 1 Technical Roadmap.
- Build and update a panel of Chinese suppliers capable of developing parts, facilities or materials compatible with Ampere requirements taking benefit of the China Tier 1 Ecosystem,
- Promote Ampere main requirements and technical orientation in Tier 1 upstream development (ready by design off the Shelf solution for Ampere)
- Monitor requirements differences between China Standard / regulation roadmaps and Europe
- Insure and consolidate the Benchmark competitions on the components of its scope to guarantee competitiveness
- Propose the assignment of suppliers during the Sourcing
- Contribute to the achievement of the QCDP objectives of the components within their scope in the development of application projects
- Contribute to the resolution of quality problems
- Optimize the economic performance of mass-produced vehicles (BOP challenge)
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and above in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong knowhow and > 6 years’ experience in development of Multimedia/Display/Connectivity/Switches.
- International mindset, curious, passionate for costing, industries, new technologies.
- Business oriented, able to manage a perimeter of activity in autonomy, with anticipation and proactiveness to propose changes.
- Transversal way of working, easy to share experience & to develop its partners.
- Excellent capacity of analysis and synthesis with result-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, French can be a plus.
