Role Overview
As UX Researcher, the candidate will support the definition, monitoring, and continuous improvement of a user-centric approach across ECS products and services. The candidate will leverage qualitative and quantitative data to build an understanding of our users, their motivations, fears, pain points and needs. This person will work closely with Design, Product, Marketing, Tech, and Business teams.
The User Experience Researcher will help to build the right offering by leading product discovery and providing insights and guidance to Product and UX/UI Designers.
This role combines product strategy, design thinking, project management, and cross-team collaboration to help the company scale its product delivery and offer effectively.
Key Responsabilities
Plan and conduct user research studies, using both quantitative and qualitative methods, to understand user behaviors, motivations, pain points and needs
Use analytical findings to be the voice of the users for the team, ensuring products are designed to meet customer expectations and solve problems
Build a strong understanding of final users by using design thinking methods and tools (journey mapping, persona, flows etc...)
Conduct user testing to help UX designers create a prototype and again to identify any usability issues before the product or service is launched
Work closely with cross-functional teams that may include Product Designers, Product Managers, Developers and other stakeholders
Lead strategy discussions through discovery by building and consolidating market research, competitors' analysis and business needs
Organize and facilitate workshops to align business needs with internal and/or external key stakeholders.
