The Experience Design Intern will join the Home Solutions Design team to contribute to a strategic project. This role involves developing innovative future user experience visions and creating UX solutions for product and service lines, all while adhering to established design requirements, principles, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design research studies, test and gather user experience data using established research methodologies; describe and report data using industry standard metrics and methods.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and UX leadership to gather requirements and influence UX strategy
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Assess, develop, and implement portions of user experience design plans, changes, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products.  
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners on user experience design and development.  
  • Collaborate closely with members of GxD team to ensure that designs meet requirements and goals are of high quality and participates as a member of project team; internal and outsourced design and development partners to develop holistic, high-quality user experience solutions for low to moderately- complex projects, products, and services.

Education Requirement:

Currently enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, Human Computer Interaction.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with or understanding of user centered design principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Ability to perform user experience research, design experiments, collect data, and summarize results.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience.
  • Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within a business environment.
  • Acts as a team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. 

The pay range for this position is $28 to $37 per hour (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
