POSITION OVERVIEW
Highly experienced Windows Desktop Specialist to strengthen our EUT team. This profile has deep technical expertise in Windows environments, including Windows 11, as well as advanced proficiency in system process diagnostic and analysis tools. This role includes the operational management and continuous optimization of Microsoft Teams video conferencing rooms and collaborative spaces, covering monitoring, preventive maintenance, application of updates, and rapid resolution of incidents, to ensure an optimal user experience and a high level of service. The specialist will also be responsible for coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers of audiovisual and collaborative equipment, and will actively participate in the evolution of collaboration and virtualization solutions. This strategic role aims to elevate the level of excellence of our internal resources, foster collaborative digital transformation, and represent the team in IT Architecture.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Provide expert-level technical support for workstations, video conferencing rooms, and related platforms, including system process and log analysis.
Operationalize Microsoft Intune for device, configuration, and deployment management.
Ensure the continuous management ("Day 2 operations") of Teams conference rooms: monitoring, preventive maintenance, application of updates and regular optimization to ensure an optimal user experience and a high level of service.
Maintain a proactive relationship with service providers and manufacturers of equipment, software and services, in order to ensure the quality, rapid resolution of incidents and the evolution of the solutions deployed.
Actively participate in the evolution of VDI virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware Horizon, Windows 365, AWS cloud PC) and collaborative solutions.
Work closely with IT Architecture to align desktop and collaboration solutions with organizational standards and ensure their evolution.
Act as a technical referent and mentor to increase the skills of team members.
Contribute to the evaluation, implementation and optimization of solutions for desktop and collaboration environments (e.g., DEX, Systrack, Thousand Eyes).
Leverage data from workstations and video conferencing rooms (logs, telemetry, performance) to produce actionable analytics using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or SQL.
Participate in the definition and monitoring of performance indicators related to the digital employee experience and the quality of IT services.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Advanced expertise in Windows 11, Android operating systems for video conferencing rooms
Proficiency in system diagnostic tools (Procmon, Event Viewer, Thousand Eyes, Cisco, Teams, etc.).
Significant experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM, Autopilot, packaging, autopatch, remote help, compliance).
Advanced expertise in VDI environments and virtualization solutions.
Experience with DEX solutions (e.g., Systrack, Nexthink, Lenovo Device Intelligence) and understanding of digital employee experience issues.
Expertise in Cisco video conferencing platform, codec, camera, microphones, loudspeaker
Business Analytics Skills: Ability to interpret technical and operational data to guide IT decisions.
Proficient in analytics tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, or other data visualization platforms.
Excellent communication and technical representation skills.
Ability to work independently and mentor colleagues.
Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration (architecture, security, network).
Writing and maintenance of technical documentation, presentation for management or architectural committee
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Relevant certifications (Microsoft Intune, VDI, DEX, Cisco, etc.) are an asset.
Expertise in Cisco video conferencing platforms: codec, camera, microphones, speaker
