Position Summary...

The Vice President, General Manager, Facilities Services Operations is responsible for leading Walmart’s end-to-end facilities maintenance execution across all U.S. stores, Sam’s Clubs, supply chain sites, and corporate facilities. This role ensures reliable, efficient, and high-quality service delivery through operational excellence, workforce performance, and disciplined asset management. Acting as the operational engine of Walmart’s facilities platform, this leader drives day-to-day execution while partnering with strategy and commercialization teams to support innovation, cost efficiency, and integration of new technologies. The role is accountable for service uptime, cost optimization, technician performance, vendor reliability, and delivering an exceptional store and associate environment.

What you'll do...

Key Priorities:
Operational Leadership and Service Delivery
Direct end-to-end execution of facilities maintenance across Walmart U.S. stores, Sam’s Clubs, supply chain sites, and corporate offices, ensuring consistent service quality and uptime.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
Establish operational standards and compliance protocols to meet safety, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Workforce and Vendor Management
Lead a large-scale technician workforce (8,000+ field associates) and regional operations teams, driving productivity, engagement, and skill development.
Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and adherence to service-level agreements.
Develop labor risk mitigation strategies through reinvestment, training, and workforce planning.
Performance Optimization and Cost Management
Monitor and improve KPIs such as time-to-complete, cost per work order, equipment uptime, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Drive internal savings by increasing self-performance rates and reducing reliance on external providers, targeting >90% insourcing over the next 24 months.
Leverage data analytics and predictive insights to optimize resource allocation and reduce lifecycle costs.
Technology Integration and Innovation
Partner with strategy and commercialization teams to integrate IoT, AI, and predictive maintenance technologies into daily operations.
Support modernization initiatives that enhance service speed, accuracy, and scalability across all facilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with senior leaders in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Real Estate to align maintenance priorities with enterprise objectives.
Contribute operational insights to strategic planning, enabling Walmart’s transformation from a cost center to a revenue-generating platform.
Financial Accountability
Manage operational budgets and cost-to-serve metrics, ensuring high ROI for capital and technology investments.
Support monetization initiatives by enabling operational readiness for external service delivery.

The annual salary range for this position is $225,000.00 - $500,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
