What you'll do...
The
Senior Manager of the Invoicing & Dispute Resolution team is responsible for ensuring first time invoice accuracy, efficient issue resolution, and advertiser satisfaction while protecting recognized/ billed revenue. This role leads a team of both onshore and offshore associates who manage the full invoicing lifecycle from billing generation through dispute resolution. This role serves as a key liaison between other RCM leads, sales, client services, finance and product teams to carry out a seamless billing experience.
This position is expected to combine operational rigor, analytical mindset and strong cross-functional communication to deliver a seamless billing experience that is accurate, compliant and scalable. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Management - Oversee timely and accurate invoice generation for all Walmart Connect advertising products and channels to agencies, suppliers and sellers.
- Ensure adherence to established billing rules, schedules, and standard operating procedures.
- Review exceptions and billing discrepancies, escalating to the oversight team for root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Partner with Contract & Policy Management to ensure invoices reflect the most current contract terms and approved billing policies.
Dispute Resolution - Manage end-to-end advertiser dispute handling, ensuring issues are resolved promptly, fairly, and in alignment with policy and accounting standards.
- Investigate and resolve billing errors or discrepancies by reviewing contract terms, campaign delivery data, and transaction history.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Client Services, and Finance to ensure alignment on dispute resolutions.
- Prepare and approve billing adjustments or credit memos, ensuring proper documentation, controls, and financial accuracy.
- Identify recurring issues, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend process improvements to prevent future disputes to oversight & policy teams.
Operational Excellence - Drive improvements on related KPIs such as billing accuracy, dispute resolution turnaround time, and revenue at risk.
- Develop and implement process improvements and automation to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to ensure system stability, accurate data flow, and continuous billing improvements.
- Lead readiness activities for new product launches to ensure billing integration and compliance with established processes.
Cross-Functional Partnership - Act as the primary point of contact for invoicing-related queries across Walmart Connect.
- Collaborate with Collections and Reporting teams to ensure continuity of billing-to-cash.
- Support month-end close activities, variance analyses, and audit inquiries as needed.
- Provide insights to support and influence senior leadership on dispute trends, invoice accuracy, and process performance.

Skills & Qualifications - Master or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or data analytics related areas.
- 8+ years' experience in different aspects of billing functions or accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams.
- Deep domain knowledge of monetization, ad tech, SaaS, or digital media revenue practices with complex processes
- Leadership over process improvement and internal audit knowledge
- Strong ability to execute, measure results, and demonstrate progress in the face of ambiguity in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Experience leading changes, process transformation, and scaling operational infrastructure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management at executive levels
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous growth environments
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal to identify requirements in tools, dashboards, and access to data to maximize performance and efficiency.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
