Role summary:The (USA) Lead, Sam's Cafe Back of House, ensures the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation while supervising daily operations. This role involves training and mentoring associates, managing inventory, and overseeing food preparation and administrative tasks to maintain efficient workflow. The lead fosters strong team collaboration, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and upholds company policies and ethical standards. Team members collaborate to uphold food safety, sanitation, and operational standards while efficiently managing inventory and kitchen tasks. What you'll do: -
Maintain cafe safety by monitoring product expiration, cleanliness, and adherence to sanitation and food safety standards.

Train and instruct associates on food preparation, quality assurance, and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Manage food and equipment inventories, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating products according to company policies.

Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, attendance tracking, and deposit preparation.

Lead daily team meetings, supervise food station setup, restocking, and cleanup to ensure consistent customer service.

Foster associate development through mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Proven experience in supervising and developing teams within a food service environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance standards.

Ability to manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating products according to policy.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
