ROLE SUMMARY
Migraine is a common, debilitating neurological disease affecting 40M people in the US. Surprisingly, less than half of the 19.5M people living with Migraine have been diagnosed, and fewer than half of those diagnosed are treated on Rx therapy.
Pfizer’s product ZAVZPRET is the first intranasal calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibody indicated for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura. Following its launch in July 2023, ZAVZPRET has become the fastest growing acute non-oral product in the migraine space and continues to gain momentum.
The ZAVZPRET Marketing Director will be accountable for supporting the team’s expansive medical education and peer to peer efforts, working closely with the HCP marketing team to drive ZAVZPRET-specific initiatives such as speaker programs, and the Nurtec ODT marketing team on portfolio-driven initiatives. The marketing director will also have the opportunity to support other critical brand workstreams to increase brand uptake.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and lead medical education and engagement strategy for ZAVZPRET, including speaker programs, congresses, roundtables, ad boards, and other innovative ways to reach key customers
Manage ZAVZPRET speaker programs, leading the outreach, development, and contracting of the speaker bureau, supporting the logistics
Partner with HCP team and field leadership to lead to optimal execution of ZAVZPRET speaker programs with strong reach and geographic diversity
Collaborate with Nurtec ODT team on key congress and symposia deliverables to ensure strong portfolio promotion
Drive, identify, and create specific ZAVZPRET-oriented peer-to-peer touch points to drive medical education
Develop new websites to support both Nurtec ODT and ZAVZPRET to drive unified portfolio feel across franchise
Explore and build AI capabilities to support Nurtec ODT and ZAVZPRET HCP promotion and interaction
Lead development of ACNA and SPNA
Support team in development of other critical promotional activities, including potential support of HCP promotion and strategy and patient (DTC) promotion and strategy
Manage all critical action items and ensure deliverables are met by date and budget partnering with internal cross-functional colleagues and agency of record
Support annual operating and tactical plan development, focused on leading HCP strategy and execution
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key cross-functional partners, including but not limited to field force leadership, sales enablement, medical, legal, regulatory, and ISE
Lead management of Med Ed agency of record relationship
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA or BS required (with 8 years of work experience); advanced degree preferred
Ability to move fast in response to what is happening in the external marketplace
Knowledge of Pfizer peer to peer systems (e.g., Navigator+) preferred
Experience running/supporting initiatives preferred (project management, proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, strong team culture and collaboration)
Strong familiarity with US healthcare landscape including HCPs, medical groups/integrated delivery networks, payers, and consumers
Able to actively contribute to create and operate in an environment that continuously encourages the implementation of innovative ideas and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork across functional teams
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including agile way of working, solution oriented, the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and create business impact
Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively both one-on-one and in groups

Peer to Peer / Medical Education marketing experience preferred
Prior launch experience preferred
