US Vyndamax Marketing Senior Manager

Vyndaqel and Vyndamax were approved by the FDA in May 2019 for the treatment of patients with transthyretin cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). As the only FDA-approved therapies for ATTR-CM, Vyndaqel and Vyndamax are first-in-class launch products with the potential to significantly impact patients and standards of care. As a leader in ATTR CM the Vyndamax team is deeply dedicated to overcoming the challenges faced by patients, along the full patient journey and this role specifically focuses on the unique challenges faced by rare cardiology patients. Rarely has there been an opportunity in a single market to help so many patients with so much at stake and so many challenges to start and stay on therapy.

The Vyndamax Senior Manager will work to support advocacy across stakeholders. The position requires strong strategic and analytical skills, exceptional cross-functional collaboration, and detail-oriented execution within a complex and rapidly evolving advocacy landscape. This position is based in NYHQ and reports to the Senior Director, Vyndamax Organized Customer and Access.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Patient & Advocacy Support Programs
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies for Vyndamax patient support programs in close partnership with HCP Marketing, Consumer Marketing, SA, , Sales, and Patient Solutions Leadership (formerly PAL).
    • Create and manage patient marketing materials and lead training for a variety of teams, including Patient Solutions and other CFC groups as needed.
  • Advocacy Marketing and Pull-Through
    • Collaborate closely with APR, Pt Solutions Leadership, and Consumer and HCP Marketers to create and  pull through patient content Regularly monitor external market trends and adjust strategy and tactics, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    • Develop and evolve patient support training materials for CFCs and other stakeholders
    • Implement innovative solutions in support of patient awareness
  • Adherence
    • Support development of Vyndamax Patient First year initiatives and resources.
    • Support development and execution of a comprehensive Vyndamax adherence program, in close collaboration with key stakeholders and across the brand team.
  • Omnichannel Marketing
    • Execute patient support campaign that is grounded in customer needs and preferences, sequenced so customers receive the right message at the right time on the right channel, focused on the highest value actions, and measurable.
    • Develop and maintain patient support playbooks to support the implementation of digital tools including bite sized and modular content in interactive and immersive formats. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6+ years U.S. pharmaceutical experience required.
  • Track record of innovation, leadership, and significant contribution to the growth of brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, extract key insights, and translate these into meaningful strategies and in market results
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high energy environment
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross functional matrix teams: Influences without formal authority, understands role/ position in the wider context; builds and maintains strong relationships of trust; able to influence without authority to set joint goals and share lessons learned; experience working in large organization across multiple functional partner lines
  • Ability to gain alignment: Effective listening and communication skills – gathers input from key stakeholders; communicates scientific and commercial strategies into clear updates for senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior leadership
  • Independent worker with demonstrated trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills and demonstrated flexibility
  • Comfort with and track record of success operating in situations with high ambiguity, and complex “white space” environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Specialty or rare disease care experience preferred.
  • Experience with launch product a plus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
