US-Senior Software Engineer

Essential Responsibilities •Lead and execute on the research and development of secure, scalable, and highly available production-grade software through vision, definition, development, deployment, and sustainment with varying levels of abstraction. •Partner with Product Management to ensure design, engineering and implementation is in accordance with design intention and meets business needs. •Author technical design documentation in adherence to business and solution architecture requirements. •Work with technology leadership to identify and implement new technologies and techniques that can improve our overall platform performance and ultimate customer experience. •Develop, cascade and ensure engineering best practices using modern SDLC that enables CI/CD and favors automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure and policy as code. •Provide technical support in relational and NoSQL database as well as application business logic code, including developing APIs encapsulating data management, data modeling and schema development. •Tune queries for optimal performance, refactor business logic for optimal performance, and implement concurrency control to support multi-user functionality. •Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert (SME.) •Deliver simple and intuitive products. •Develop and maintain relationships with diverse teams spanning all organizational levels to effectively articulate technology solution and gain trust and buy-in. •Ability to collaborate effectively with other architects and engineers delivering end to end, high-performing, highly reliable, scalable, and operable solutions. Education Level •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field; or equivalent experience. Experience Level Minimum of 5 years experience Licenses and Certifications Not Specified Skills •Understanding of object-oriented principles in languages such as C#, C++, and Java. •Expertise in high-level programming languages. •Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React •Message or data streaming-based application development using technologies such JMS, Azure Messaging Services, Apache Kafka, or Amazon MQ. •Web services standards and related technology knowledge (XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, Rest) •Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies and concepts like MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, HBase, ACID, and CAP theorem. •Understanding of modern software development methodologies including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration & deployment •Agile development experience. •Strong communication skills, with proven ability to present complex ideas and to document concisely. •Proficient computer skills (including, but not limited to, spreadsheets, Internet, and email) are required. •Knowledge and experience with automated test tools and techniques including test-driven development, and automated acceptance testing. •Experience with Cloud providers and services such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure. •Experience with microservices architectures and containerization using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Fabric. •Strong debugging skills and ability to adapt to any new technologies with ease. •Strong understanding of cloud architecture. •Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, EDI X12. •Knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, EMRs, practice management systems. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
