Legend Biotech is seeking a Manager, HRBP and People Strategy & Operations (Carvykti BU) as part of the Human Resources team based in Bridgewater, NJ.

Role Overview

The Manager, HRBP and People Strategy & Operations (Carvykti BU) is a hybrid role within the Carvykti BU HR BP Team. This position serves as a hands-on HR Business Partner to leaders and teams while also driving the “how” behind execution—project management, change enablement, and operating cadence for the Carvykti HRBP team. The role partners closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to strengthen team effectiveness, accelerate adoption of change, and ensure disciplined follow-through on key people priorities.

The position reports to HRBP Head, Carvykti Business Unit and will be based in Bridgewater, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partnership:

  • Partner with leaders and employees across the Carvykti BU to enable team and individual effectiveness and deliver practical, business-aligned people solutions.
  • Advise leaders on core people practices–from coaching and development to employee relations and performance management.
  • Drive talent and organizational effectiveness work, including development planning, succession discussions, and proactive identification of talent or capability gaps.
  • Lead and support change management for key organizational and people initiatives, helping leaders translate change into clear plans, effective communication, and adoption across teams.
  • Analyze people trends and metrics (e.g., hiring progress, turnover trends, engagement inputs and synthesize insights to inform decisions and actions, partnering with HR COEs as needed.

Carvykti HRBP Team Enablement

  • Create the operating backbone for the Carvykti HRBP team by establishing a clear execution cadence that drives focused conversations, timely decisions, and consistent follow-through.
  • Lead project management for HRBP-owned priorities by clarifying scope, owners, timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage HRBP team meetings and forums by owning agendas, materials, action logs, decision capture, and well-governed follow-up to ensure consistent execution.
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives and cross-HR collaboration, as needed, to support enterprise priorities and share best practices across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required. Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field preferred.
  • Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM/PHR) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner is required.
  • Experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leaders through change, talent planning, and organizational effectiveness in fast moving environments.
  • Strong foundation in HR practices, employee relations, and applying people programs to business needs.
  • Proven ability to advise and influence leaders with sound judgement and credibility.
  • Strong change management skills with practical, adoption focused mindset.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive clarity, prioritization and follow-through
  • Experience in employee relations.
  • Proven influencing skills, decision making, and resilience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working with data and insights to inform decisions and execution.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and help others navigate change with confidence.

The base pay range below is what Legend Biotech USA Inc. reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify this range as needed and in accordance with applicable laws.

Other Types of Pay: Performance-based bonus and/or equity is available to employees in eligible roles.

Pay Range (Base Pay):
$110,706$145,303 USD
