US Lead, Oncology Key Account Management

United States - Pennsylvania - Remote Full time

This position leads the Oncology Key Account Management organization, which is responsible for engaging our largest accounts, with a specific focus on closing gaps in care and accelerating standard of care adoption for leading oncology therapies, minimizing unwarranted early discontinuation of our medicines, and discussing transactional matters with pharmacy and leadership at key accounts.

Responsibilities:

Leads all Key Account Regional Team Leaders as well as Large Practice Network National Account Directors.

Leads a high performing account management organization in a dynamic and evolving marketplace requiring ongoing evolution of Pfizer Oncology engagement with key account stakeholders. Supports KAD TLs in managing the Oncology key accounts organization

  • Provides structured direction and coaching to ensure monitoring of key market trends, prioritization of accounts, identification of high priority mutual interests and execution of KAD initiatives with integrity
  • Develops a collaborative partnership with the National Sales Leads to ensure optimal and appropriate coverage of  Key Accounts
  • Manages relationships with HQ stakeholders to ensure alignment with Portfolio Marketing, OAG Enablement, Portfolio Acceleration, Training and Brand Marketing teams. 
  • Leads change:
    • Advances efforts to elevate key account management to an empowered role with accountability in a data driven and metrics driven organization
    • Incorporates new resources to support KAD evolution.
  • Selectively advances engagement with the executive team within select key accounts.
  • Provides support to the OAG leader in the development of long-term strategic plan for key account management group
  • Optimizes collaboration, incorporating SME’s (Solutions, HIT, ODL, cKAD) into true regional partners to drive brand strategies and effectiveness of account efforts
  • Complies with all Corporate Policies and Procedures, while conducting all job-related activities with integrity and adherence to Pfizer’s high standards of business conduct.
  • Leads efforts and advances vision for successful account engagement of national Large Practice Networks (LPNs) of community oncology providers and urology providers such as One Oncology, AON, Athena and Solaris
  • Manages National Account Directors and innovates with customers as both their business model and the NAD role evolve
  • Engages cross-functional teams in HQ to ensure rich engagement across functions as national organizations grow in sophistication and complexity
  • Ensures coordination with GPO National Accounts team for seamless transactional engagement with large organizations

Requirements:

              Experience

  • 15 years of pharmaceutical experience with focus on customer-facing functions
  • Provider-facing key account management experience required
  • Demonstrated success in leading account-based field teams required
  • Deep Oncology market experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to expertly engage senior executives at key accounts
  • Oncology transactional / GPO experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically with the ability to formulate, develop, write, communicate and monitor the execution of the key accounts strategic and operating plan
  • Experience in executing and overseeing highly complex programs and projects

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • MBA or equivalent preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $242,000.00 to $403,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
