Job Description:
US HR Operations Generalist
Join Hitachi Energy’s HR Operations team and help enable the workforce that designs, builds, and maintains technologies critical to a reliable, modern power grid. In this role, you will manage core HR services that keep teams moving—issuing business travel and employment verification letters, coordinating post-employment background checks, and maintaining accurate employee records in Workday and ADP, including new-hire entry in ADP GV. You’ll serve as a responsive point of contact for HR operations inquiries, partner with vendors, and ensure service delivery meets Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), agreed KPIs, and quality targets. Your work supports project mobility, data integrity, and timely onboarding—foundational elements that help engineers, project managers, and field teams focus on grid reliability, grid modernization, and innovation across transmission, distribution, and substation initiatives. You’ll collaborate across internal and external teams, assist with compliance audits and reporting, manage ServiceNow tickets, and contribute to special projects and programs. If you enjoy precision, confidentiality, and a service mindset—and you’re energized by enabling people who power the world—this role offers impact at scale in a global energy technology environment.
