Job Description:
We are seeking a talented UAE National Urban Designer to join our team under the general direction of a licensed Architect. The ideal candidate will perform moderately complex architectural or interior design assignments, requiring a solid understanding of design standards, practices, and techniques. This position involves compiling data, specifications, and sketches, and formalizing them into working drawings and models. The role offers opportunities to develop proficiency in architectural and interior design standards, practices, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards based on general design information and client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards using technical manuals.
- Perform dimensional and routine calculations for design layouts and drawings.
- Produce red-lined drawings and specifications.
- Research and develop design and product solutions, presenting them for consideration.
- Inspect architectural or interior design features on project sites and document conditions.
- Collaborate with project team members to set goals and meet deadlines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
- Completion of NCARB Intern Development Program (or similar program) and progress toward licensure preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Working knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in sketching, rendering, model-building, and presentation drawing.
- Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages commonly used in architectural and interior design.
