Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as LTAMDS/GhostEye Upgrade Kits Execution Lead. As the Upgrade Kits Execution Lead for this high-profile program, you will lead planning, coordinating and executing technology refresh activities across the LTAMDS/GhostEye Product Line to maintain system readiness over the lifecycle. This Lead serves as a bridge between IPTs/CPTs, Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain, Office of Chief Engineering, Program Tech Directors, Growth & Strategy and Program Offices to define upgrade project requirements, develop execution schedules, and monitor & control project activities including Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of tech refresh project execution, including cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will be responsible for coordinating dependencies across multiple contracts to align funding and resource availability and provide PM support to Configuration Control Boards (CCB).

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with IPTs/CPTs, Functional Organizations, Obsolescence Working Groups, & PMO to define technical upgrade requirements aligned with system roadmaps & can-build / can-support forecasts

  • Support proposal development activities for tech refresh efforts

  • Plan, execute, monitor, & control technical upgrades / ECP development projects

  • Lead ECP development reviews to include required EV / financial reporting requirements, schedule metrics, technical progress metrics, variance analysis / corrective actions   

  • Support the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations

  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 10 years of experience is required

  • Experience related to program execution and program management

  • Experience with financial management, including Risk and Opportunity management

  • Proposal experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Program Management Level 3 Certification or ability to obtain (provisional) within 90 days

  • Earned Value (EVMS) Certification or equivalent

  • Prior experience supporting development, production and/or sustainment programs in the aerospace and defense industry

  • Prior experience leading Hardware development projects

  • Working knowledge of contract formation and execution

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
