As a LEAD Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing laboratory-based projects to support customer outcomes and identify opportunities for process or product improvement
  • Collaborating with experienced scientists, lab technicians, and engineers to support daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, testing, and analysis
  • Collecting and recording experimental data, and assisting in data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, or improvement areas
  • Supporting troubleshooting activities related to laboratory processes, test methods, or equipment performance
  • Assisting in the inspection, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of lab activities, test results, equipment logs, and safety compliance records
  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and laboratory safety protocols, including proper chemical handling, waste disposal, and risk assessments, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Petroleum Engineering, & Industrial Chemistry

  • Have maintained a GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.0) or equivalent in your country

  • Be fluent in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills

  • Be willing and able to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations may vary)

  • Be legally authorized to work in the country of application without sponsorship or time restrictions

  • Demonstrate an interest in laboratory operations, including hands-on experience or exposure to lab safety practices, chemical handling, testing, and analysis procedures
