How You’ll CREATE:
The Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and eCommerce team at UMG oversees all online artist stores and fan commerce initiatives across music, merchandise and experiences. We work closely with label partners, artist management, and creative teams to plan, launch and optimize artist stores, ensuring that fans around the world can directly engage with and purchase from their favorite artists. Our team manages store operations, campaign planning, performance reporting, and creative execution for both new releases and ongoing artist activity.
Working with different internal teams to get product information for set up sheets
Submitting comp-orders for various stakeholders

Famehouse - Artist Strategy (Onsite: Philadelphia)
How You’ll CREATE:
The Artist Strategy function exists to shepherd best-in-class campaign work, with the explicit purpose of scaling and evolving our strategic approach to the business. We work to take an artist’s eCommerce business to the next level, helping to ensure the success of calendar plans and overall revenue goals while elevating an artist’s brand. The Artist Strategy team works in partnership with Label Engagement & key stakeholders to develop and support strategies to maximize our business across key areas of opportunity, with a heavy focus on new album releases, tour, and catalog music.
At least 60% of the internship will include supporting development and evolution of our internal tools, specifically:
Own updating the Case Study Decks (frontline, tour, catalog)
Compile competitive analyses of non-UMG artists & campaigns
The other 40% is supporting Leads as they compile bespoke artist deliverables, specifically:
Round up references, materials, etc.
Help update Keynote files
Ideal candidates will have:
Strong grasp of the music industry, as a fan and/or a professional in the space (Billboard charting, trends, fan communities, etc.)
Experience with presentation creation, particularly within Keynote & Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) is required

Famehouse - Audience Development (Onsite: CA):
How You’ll CREATE:
Audience Development is UMG’s CRM and lifecycle marketing team, partnering with labels (like Interscope Records) to connect fans and artists through timely, relevant email and SMS campaigns. We use data to guide segmentation and journeys, with personalization that reflects audience preferences. Our work drives engagement, retention, and lifetime value while supporting artist and label objectives.
Support the build, testing, and scheduling of email and SMS campaigns
Assist with audience segmentation + journey setup, produce briefs, timelines, and post-send recaps aligned with artist and label goals
Prepare assets and copy (including basic Photoshop edits), propose tests, maintain documents and trackers, take meeting notes, and compile performance snapshots
Projects include administrative tasks & audits, contributing to Interscope Audience Development campaigns tied to releases, tours, and tentpole marketing moments, and delivering a summer capstone project

This team is responsible for growing, engaging and converting artist and label-owned audiences. We develop and execute data acquisition strategies for artists and labels so they can get a better understanding of their superfans, keep their audiences up to date on ongoing projects and most importantly, drive streaming and revenue. The team is a resource used by digital, e-commerce, catalog, international and many other departments to complete their marketing plan.

How You’ll CREATE:
The international audience development department is the bridge that connects the 30+ ex-US UMG markets. We lead global CRM campaigns with end-to-end execution, including project planning, project management and evaluating campaign performance and regularly share best practices and industry trends across a broad network of international stakeholders.
We also partner with cross-functional teams, including eCommerce, Label, Creative, Analytics and Product, to drive cohesive marketing strategies.

Famehouse Creative, Brand & Product is part of the in-house creative team consisting of Graphic Design, Illustration, Technical Art and Creative Operations. We create merchandise designs for a broad roster of artists and bands. We ideate product concepts, create and execute graphic and illustrative design, and work on pre-production product set ups.
Graphic Design & Product Development
Assist in designing original graphics for D2C, retail, tour and VIP channels across various styles
Help develop apparel and accessory products using original artwork and client designs, aligning with trends and fan demographics
Assist in mocking up apparel and accessory designs

How You’ll CREATE:
Production/product development is responsible for all of the sourcing and development of all merchandise, ranging from apparel to accessories to home decor. We communicate direct with vendors and factories, both domestic and overseas, to ideate/develop/source all items, as well as review fabric swatches and final product for quality and fit confirmation. We also negotiate costs and P&L along with finance for both e-comm and tour.
Organize and maintain sample drawers and collections in office
Issue sample POs and production POs to vendors with accurate costs, descriptions, SKUs, and units
Create SKUs, UPCs, item cards, and generate POs directly in Navision Citrix
Work regularly in Monday.com, updating boards with relevant production information for e-comm launches, INTL production orders, and overall product development tracking
Handle sample shipments and other shipment requests from management
Submit comp requests directly with the warehouse and manage progress
