Job Description

35% - Coordinate recruitment efforts with departments. Ensure that a qualified applicant pool is referred to the Hiring Official. Screen applications based upon State minimum training and education requirements, as well as departmental preferences and desires. Coordinate and assist Departmental contacts in the implementation/use of the University's applicant tracking system.

35% - Ensure that Hiring Officials are following established procedures, guidelines, policies, State rules and regulations as well as State and Federal laws when filling positions. Ensure that fair and equitable hiring is carried out by the Hiring Officials/Department.

20% - Provide assistance with New Employee Orientation. Create new employee sign-up packages and ensure that materials are ready for all new employees.

10% - Participate in outreach recruitment activities that support HRM’s mission. Target and participate in meetings/organizations that provide a viable candidate pool for MUSC.

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in human resources management programs.
