Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for Medical Telemetry. This is a Full Time Day shift position in Williamsburg, VA.
The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
Education
Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) Or
MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
Registered nursing License (Required)
BLS required within 90 days of hire
Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
Experience
18 Months of acute care RN experience(required)
Medical Surgical Experience (preferred)
Post surgical area experience (preferred)
Stroke Telemetry experience (preferred)
