About the Role

• Support the underwriting team in project execution, process improvement, and daily operations.
• Assist in implementing straight-through process (STP), auto underwriting, and AI model initiatives.
• Contribute to pending ratio analysis and operational efficiency.
• Provide administrative and technical support for agency roadshows and stakeholder engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  •  Assist in the coordination and implementation of underwriting projects, including STP, auto underwriting, and AI model deployment.
  • Support the analysis of pending ratios and help identify areas for improvement in underwriting turnaround time.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and operational metrics for management review.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, IT, and business partners to ensure smooth execution of new processes and systems.
  • Provide administrative support for agency roadshows, training sessions, and communication activities.
  • Handle routine case management, including documentation, follow-up, and compliance checks.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal teams and distribution partners regarding underwriting requirements and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and risk management guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support ad-hoc assignments and projects as directed by the manager.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting or operations.
  •  Experience in project coordination or process improvement is an advantage.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with underwriting systems is a plus.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., FLMI, LOMA) are an added advantage.
