We are hiring multiple Journeyperson Underground Heavy Duty Mechanics (Red Seal) to join our team at Brucejack Underground Mine on a 14 x 14 Continuous Shift rotation. This role offers an opportunity to work on ultra-class Caterpillar mining equipment for the biggest players in the industry.

• Wage: $55.28 - $61.42 (base rate + regional wage allowance)

As an Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic - you’ll troubleshoot and repair a variety of Caterpillar mining equipment such as underground haul trucks, graders and loaders leveraging your technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on.
Your work will include:
- Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in an underground mine environment
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds
- Component replacements
- Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication
Specific Skills & Experience
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr)
- 5+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience recommended
- Underground Mining experience is beneficial
- Experience with AD45 Underground Articulated trucks, R2900, R1700 and R1600 Underground Loaders as well as a variety of underground support equipment
- Computer literacy along with Finning S-level courses
- Previous repair experience on the Caterpillar mining and general line product lines would be considered an asset
Important Information:
- This is a site position, located at Brucejack Mine on a 14 x 14 continuous shift rotation
- A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site Access (includes Drug & Alcohol, and Fitness testing) and the ability to wear a respirator
