About the Role
You will be an important member of our clinical unit by ensuring the delivery of high-quality person-centred care to all patients. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams to provide effective and efficient evidence-based care, whilst also demonstrating commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
As the Unaccredited ENT Registrar, you would provide the day to day clinical management of patients under the supervision and direction of the Director of Otolaryngologist/ENT Surgery and ensure a high quality of patient care by adequately supervising junior medical staff.
There are 3 positions available: 2 positions will do alternating 6 month rotations between St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Ballarat Base Hospital, and a 3rd position will be 12 months based predominantly at Epworth Private Hospital, Richmond where 0.2EFT is contracted with SVHM and remaining contracted with Epworth.

Classifications for this position will range from HM25 - HM30 ($129,048.40 - $177,622.12 per annum, pro-rata for part time)

About ENT Department
The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Head and Neck Surgical Unit is accountable for the delivery of supervised clinical services to SVHM’s patients, through providing timely access to high quality clinical services for both emergency and elective patients, contributing to service evaluation and displaying a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
The Department provides specialist care in the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the Ear, Nose and Throat, and Head and Neck and is a Statewide Referral Centre for ENT conditions.
The Department offers a high volume, quaternary comprehensive head and neck cancer program and has specialist expertise in the treatment of uncommon conditions impacting the base of the skull.
