This position will be Full time 37.5hrs weekly schedule (4-day 10hr hourly schedule 7:30AM-5:30PM) The days will vary. Must be flexible with the hours as the hours may vary. This position will also require rotating between our Croton and Cortlandt Manor locations, both in the New York Upper Westchester locations.

 

Preferred Criteria

  • Technologist must be proficient in Breast and general Ultrasound.

  • Prior Ultrasound Tech experience in a hospital setting 

  • Minimum of 2 years Breast ultrasound experience.

Required Criteria

  • Knowledge of medical diagnostic sonography, usually obtained by being a graduate of the committee of allied health education and accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program (program length 9 months to two years) or equivalent required.

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

  • Analytical skills necessary in order to evaluate and perform diagnostic ultrasound exams.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients, patient family members, physicians, and other health care providers.
