The UKG Ready Senior Consultant serves as a lead functional and solution consultant responsible for the successful implementation, optimization, and support of UKG Ready solutions. This role partners closely with client stakeholders to translate business and workforce requirements into scalable, best‑practice UKG Ready configurations. The Senior Consultant owns solution design, configuration quality, testing, and client readiness through go‑live and stabilization.

This position requires deep UKG Ready expertise, strong client‑facing consulting skills, and the ability to lead workstreams or full engagements while mentoring junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Lead Consultant for UKG Ready implementations, upgrades, and optimizations, owning functional solution design and delivery quality.

  • Lead client discovery sessions to gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.

  • Design and configure UKG Ready modules to support client HR, payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and compliance needs.

  • Translate client requirements into a best‑fit future‑state solution aligned with UKG Ready leading practices.

  • Provide quality assurance over solution build, unit testing, and system integration testing.

  • Support and guide clients through UAT, parallel payroll testing (as applicable), cutover planning, and go‑live readiness.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to client HR, Payroll, and Operations leaders, providing guidance on process improvement and system optimization.

  • Lead solution review workshops and executive readouts to validate design decisions and confirm readiness milestones.

  • Proactively identify delivery risks, manage scope, and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Support post‑go‑live stabilization and hypercare activities.

  • Identify opportunities for additional optimization, enhancements, or phased rollouts within UKG Ready.

  • Conduct system health checks and assessments, delivering actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Mentor and review work produced by junior consultants, ensuring adherence to delivery standards and methodology.

  • Contribute to internal methodologies, accelerators, templates, and best practices for UKG Ready implementations.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional consultants (e.g., integrations, project management, UKG Pro/WFM teams) to deliver cohesive solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands‑on UKG Ready implementation experience in a consulting or client‑facing role.  

  • Experience with UKG Ready modules including, but not limited to:

    • Core HR

    • Payroll

    • Time & Attendance

    • Scheduling

    • Leave and Accruals

    • ACA (as applicable)

  • Proven experience leading UKG Ready discovery, configuration, testing, and go‑live activities.

  • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management business processes.

  • Experience working directly with client stakeholders and leading functional workstreams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality results in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Experience with multi‑country or complex payroll environments.

  • Exposure to integrations between UKG Ready and third‑party systems (e.g., benefits, finance, time clocks).

  • Prior consulting experience within a professional services or advisory firm.

  • UKG certifications (UKG Ready or related modules).

  • Experience mentoring junior consultants or acting as a solution lead on projects.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $85,100 - $161,700

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
