About the Role

The UKG Workforce Management Consulting Manager is a client‑facing delivery leader responsible for overseeing the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing delivery of UKG Workforce Management solutions. This role leads consulting teams, ensures high‑quality solution delivery, and serves as a trusted advisor to clients throughout their WFM transformation journey.

The Consulting Manager is accountable for delivery excellence across multiple engagements, consultant development, solution quality, and proactive risk management. This role partners closely with project management and practice leadership to deliver integrated, scalable workforce management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of UKG Workforce Management implementations, optimizations, and assessments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.  
  • Serve as the primary functional and solution architect for UKG WFM engagements, guiding clients through discovery, design, configuration, testing, and go‑live.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, translating workforce, timekeeping, scheduling, and labor needs into scalable UKG WFM solutions.
  • Partner with project managers and client leadership to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and executive communications.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and solution architecture guidance across UKG WFM modules, including timekeeping, accruals, scheduling, attendance, and analytics.
  • Oversee and review solution design, configuration, and testing to ensure adherence to best practices and client requirements.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard timelines and client outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor UKG WFM consultants, fostering skill development, career growth, and delivery consistency.
  • Provide quality control across consultant deliverables, including requirements documentation, configuration, and testing artifacts.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership to improve methodologies, templates, and delivery standards across the UKG WFM practice.
  • Support solution scoping, estimating, and pricing for UKG WFM consulting engagements.
  • Participate in pre‑sales activities, including solution design discussions and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional UKG teams (e.g., UKG Pro/HCM, integrations) to deliver integrated workforce solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands‑on UKG Workforce Management experience, including implementation leadership.  
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent consulting engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of UKG WFM implementation methodology and delivery best practices.
  • Experience with joint UKG Pro and UKG WFM implementations
  • Proven ability to manage client expectations, risks, and delivery quality.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Consulting or professional services background.
  • Experience mentoring and developing consulting teams.
  • Exposure to complex, multi‑workstream workforce implementations.
  • UKG Workforce Management Certifications

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $107,000 - $214,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
