About the Role:

Fuse is seeking an ambitious Senior Account Manager to support the global sponsorship activation of Rugby World cup Australia 2027, for our client Asahi Super Dry. The role would report to an Account Director.

You will have strong interpersonal skills, be experienced in coaching junior team members, be confident when liaising with clients and partner organisations, and have an ability to manage projects independently. The role will be involved in all aspects of the project, therefore it is an excellent opportunity for you to lead and develop whilst working on a global sponsorship activation.

You will work closely with the Account Director and Group Director supporting the overall project whilst owning specific elements such as managing the rightsholder relationship and leading the delivery of Asahi Super Dry’s sole & exclusive rights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Take a leading responsibility in the success of a high-profile partnership between Asahi Super Dry and Rugby World Cup

· Create and deliver an activation strategy for Asahi Super Dry that reflects the brand’s objectives with a powerful set of rights & assets

· Use your experience to build client trust quickly via an ability to consult and add value

· Oversee junior team members in managing the approvals workflow, being a trusted advisor when it comes to guidelines and client toolkits to ensure campaigns are executed successfully and on time

· Creation, on-going management and circulation of project management tools including project plans, and status documents

· Development of process improvements and best practices for asset and potentially talent management

· Take responsibility for accurately tracking and managing the fulfilment of sponsorship assets, ensuring assets are being utilised efficiently and performing effectively

· Set standards for account administration, ensure shared platforms are maintained to a high standard with key documents being saved / filed appropriately

· Ensure the successful implementation of stadium assets & digital assets, including stadium LEDs, digital banners, and media backdrops

· Prepare comprehensive client reporting, with the view of providing recommendations for continuous improvement, be able to confidently present this to clients

· Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure smooth operations

· Knowledge of and willingness to keep on top of the sponsorship landscape to provide best practice and recommendations

· Manage junior team members and take a strong interest in their successful development.

Budget Management

· Supervision of project finance queries including raising and management of supplier purchase orders, payment terms, foreign exchange rates and VAT handling.

· Overseeing the supplier onboarding alongside internal finance dept.

· Budget ownership

· Work code management relating to which costs

· Reconciliation – ongoing, checking job reports, updating budget accordingly

· Managing supplier payments, making sure suppliers are paid on time, chasing urgent payments, forecasting and expecting when payments are due, supplier payment breakdowns

Flexible Working
