UK Account Executive (Remote – United Kingdom)

Our platform generates highly accurate, fully customizable medical notes, summaries, dental charts, and discharge instructions, saving clinicians hours each day and improving patient care outcomes.

As we rapidly expand throughout the United Kingdom, we’re hiring a UK Account Executive to drive new business growth, build strong relationships with veterinary practices, and introduce clinics to the transformative impact of AI-powered workflows.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development and collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying sales role focused on pipeline development, consultative selling, and closing new practice accounts across the U.K.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll manage the full sales cycle for veterinary practices across the U.K., from outbound engagement through signed agreements and successful handoff to Customer Success.

New Business Sales

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, evaluation, and close.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of veterinary practices, ensuring consistent monthly and quarterly performance.
  • Conduct tailored demos highlighting how VetRec can immediately improve clinical efficiency and workflow accuracy.
  • Proactively follow up with trial users, decision-makers, and practice managers to drive conversion.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close new business in alignment with VetRec’s pricing and sales strategy.

Prospecting & Pipeline Development

  • Generate new leads through outbound outreach, events, webinars, partnerships, and industry networks.
  • Qualify inbound interest from practices evaluating AI solutions.
  • Track progress using CRM best practices and maintain accurate forecasts.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work

  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and a strong early experience for new customers.
  • Share market insights with Product and Engineering to help refine features aligned with U.K. practice workflows.
  • Partner with BD and Marketing on campaigns, events, and targeted outreach initiatives.

On-Site Engagement & Travel

  • Visit veterinary practices across the U.K. for in-person demos, relationship-building, and closing conversations.
  • Represent VetRec at major U.K. veterinary conferences, including the London Vet Show, as well as association events and workshops.
  • Participate in roadshows, practice presentations, and live product sessions.

Market Understanding & Feedback Loop

  • Act as the voice of prospective U.K. customers, sharing insights on purchasing behavior, competitive landscape, and adoption barriers.
  • Provide continuous feedback to improve sales processes, messaging, and product-market fit in the region.

Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for a driven, persuasive salesperson who thrives in fast-paced environments and can clearly communicate the value of technology to veterinary and clinical teams.

You’ll likely have:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, medical, veterinary, or clinical technology.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Strong ability to run consultative sales cycles and guide prospects through evaluation and implementation decisions.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including comfort running live demos.
  • Confidence in engaging with practice owners, managers, and clinicians.
  • A proactive, organized, self-directed work style suited to a fast-growing startup.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across the U.K.

Preferred

  • Experience selling into veterinary, healthcare, or medical environments.
  • Familiarity with workflows inside veterinary practices or clinical settings.
  • Comfort with CRM systems and modern sales tooling.
