Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to support the design and development of user-centered digital products. This role involves translating user requirements into engaging, intuitive layouts and prototypes, conducting usability testing, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure seamless implementation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in user experience best practices, influence design standards, and contribute to delivering high-quality, accessible digital solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma (latest versions) for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data-driven design iterations
Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, and accessibility considerations
Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience working in Agile environments supporting iterative design and delivery
Knowledge of front-end development requirements to support design-to-development handoff
Familiarity with usability testing tools and analytic platforms to gather user insights
Overall Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements and translate them into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications
Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions
Collaborate with development teams to support the implementation of user interfaces, ensuring visual and functional fidelity
Create and maintain UI/UX documentation, style guides, and design systems
Lead ideation sessions, design reviews, and user testing to gather feedback and improve solutions
Harmonize user needs with business goals, ensuring a consistent, accessible, and engaging user experience
Advocate for user-centered approaches and best practices across projects and teams
Stay updated with industry trends, new tools, and emerging accessibility standards
Technical Skills (By Category)
Design & Prototyping Tools:
Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma (required)
User Research & Testing:
Usability testing platforms, tools supporting A/B testing and analytics (preferred)
Front-End Knowledge:
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with developers (preferred)
Design Systems & Style Guides:

Accessibility & Usability:
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles
Experience Requirements
3+ years of professional experience designing user interfaces and user experiences for websites, mobile apps, or enterprise digital solutions
Proven track record translating complex requirements into clear wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs
Experience conducting usability testing and integrating user feedback into actionable improvements
Familiarity with Agile development processes supporting iterative design and delivery
Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or enterprise solutions is preferred but not mandatory
Day-to-Day Activities
Gather and analyze user and stakeholder requirements to inform design efforts
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs supporting product features
Collaborate with developers to support design implementation and address usability issues
Conduct usability testing, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs for improved user experience
Document design standards, style guides, and design system components
Participate in regular design reviews, sprint planning, and stakeholder meetings
Stay informed about industry design trends, tools, and accessibility standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
3+ years of experience supporting UI/UX design initiatives in enterprise or product environments
Certification in UX/UI design (e.g., NN/g, Adobe, or equivalent) is a plus
Proven ability to develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that enhance usability and engagement
