Primary Function:

Perform a variety of Contract Assistant functions including solicitations on quote, new contract, contract modification, and close contracts.

Working Procedures:

Perform work of equal or lower code level as required.

Perform periodic data validation between customer and internal records, inclusive of, but not limited to FAR/DFARS clauses, delivery dates, and part number and assist in resolution of any data discrepancies to ensure continuous data fidelity. Support cross-functional communication internally and externally to ensure timely communication of special contract requirements. Monitor and track progress against contractual delivery dates, providing timely notification of any potential concerns. Generate shipping paperwork, facilitate correspondence between internal and external stakeholders, and assist in troubleshooting rejected shipments or invoices. Correspond with cross-functional team, inclusive of Government Property team, to ensure awareness of incoming, government-owned assets. Facilitate contract close out activities, including preparation of paperwork, and cross-functional communication. Attend trainings and staff meetings, at the discretion of management. Support special assignments as directed. 

BASIC QUALIFCATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED with minimum of 3 years related experience as an Administrative Generalist.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience working in government defense related projects, programs and /or proposal support while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in interpretation of metrics data for slide creation/ presentation in program status meetings, customer technical exchanges.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MS Suite including Excel (including advanced features such as pivot table, v-look up, macros), Word, Power Point.
  • Minimum 2 years of SAP Experience.
  • US Citizenship is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with U.S. Government contracts and forms.
  • Experience with U.S. Government Compliance and core concepts and regulations.
  • Two years of experience as Order Administrator “B” or is equivalent.
