Dentsu Creative South Africa is seeking a dynamic, detail oriented, operationally strong Digital TTL Account Director who can seamlessly bridge strategic client leadership, campaign excellence, and operational workflow management.

This role leads integrated, channel agnostic campaigns combining digital, social, influencer, PR, ATL and BTL. You’ll guide senior clients, drive measurable results, and ensure the smooth, efficient flow of work across creative, strategy, production, digital and operations teams.

Ideal for a strategic thinker with exceptional client leadership ability, and the operational rigor to prevent bottlenecks, optimise team resourcing, and ensure on time, on budget delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Strategic Oversight

  • Serve as the senior strategic advisor to key clients, providing insights across integrated channels.
  • Lead the development and delivery of digital‑first TTL strategies, ensuring campaigns meet client objectives, market dynamics, and brand requirements.
  • Manage senior‑level client relationships, acting as the primary contact for high‑level conversations, approvals, and strategic direction.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts, proactively driving upsell, cross‑sell, and new business pitches.
  • Ensure timelines, deliverables, and KPIs are met across all campaign components.  

Commercial & Business Acumen

  • Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.
  • Ability to upsell and grow revenue through value creation and strategic opportunities.
  • Understanding of ROI measurement, performance metrics, and how campaigns drive business outcomes.

Creative & Production Oversight

  • Translate client briefs into clear, actionable workflows and delivery milestones
  • Ability to brief creative teams clearly and inspire high-quality work.
  • Drive collaboration across departments, acting as the central link to keep campaigns on track and high‑performing.
  • Understanding in the production process across ATL (TV, radio, OOH), BTL and digital content.
  • Quality control across all deliverables.
  • Understanding timelines, costs, and feasibility across multiple channels.

Team Leadership, Collaboration & Support

  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance, solutions‑driven environment across all internal teams.
  • Provide clarity, direction, and constructive feedback.
  • Drive collaboration across creative, strategy, media, and production.
  • Create an environment that promotes high performance and morale.
  • Work closely with creative and operational leads to maintain strong delivery momentum and campaign quality.

Continuous Improvement & Industry Expertise

  • Stay informed about digital trends, new platforms, technology shifts, and ATL/BTL best practices.
  • Use insights and learnings to enhance client strategies and internal delivery processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5 year’s experience in integrated marketing, digital strategy, TTL campaign leadership, or client service.
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems (social: always on and campaign, influencer, CRM, content, analytics) and how they integrate into traditional channels.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable navigating fast‑paced campaign environments.
  • Previous experience working on Chase, Magnetic or similar
  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, reporting.
  • Confident, polished presenter.
  • Experience interfacing with senior clients, managing high‑value accounts, and delivering measurable business impact.
