Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1)
Provide each table with paperwork before shift start.
2)
Ensure prior shift adhered to turnover agreement.
3)
Log any plate substitutions and provide to the Production Manager at the end of each shift.
4)
Pre-inspect each workstation and piece of equipment to ensure all safety guards are in place and working as designed. Ensure allequipment is working properly before associates begin work.
5)
Observe and address any unsafe behavior.
6)
Ensure QC standards are met by:
a)
Inspecting work on a random basis, emphasis on new employees.
b)
Having the responsible employee complete their own repairs.
c)
Educating the employees on proper technique/product.
7)
Supervise all tables/saws and address bottlenecks by:
a)
Ensuring (when possible) that workers are in the stations where they most excel.
b)
Observing and correcting inefficient processes.
c)
Identifying equipment failures and contacting Maintenance.
d)
Notifying manager if someone is not staying on task or following your instruction.
8)
Log downtime and deliver to manager at end of shift.
9)
Ensure associates are not performing any maintenance tasks without the express knowledge and permission of the lead, shiftmanager, or maintenance staff.
10)
Ensure all safety protocols are being followed.
