Ames Construction is seeking an experienced Foreman with over 5 years of heavy civil construction experience, including 3+ years in supervisory roles. This role will assist with the coordination of trucking and material hauling activities on multiple projects, including an internal fleet of trucks and drivers and coordinating with material hauling subcontractors and vendors for additional support. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety and quality and has a proven ability to lead and mentor field teams of 20+ personnel in demanding environments. This role requires knowledge of heavy civil construction practices, DOT/FMCSA regulations, cost control, planning, and execution of work plans. The candidate must be skilled in coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and contractual obligations. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively resolve field challenges are essential.
