About The Opportunity

The truck loader ensures accurate coordination of all incoming and outgoing shipments to and from the warehouse in an effort to meet customer requirements in the most efficient and effective manner.

Essential Functions:

1. Load trailers with customer product per correct unit counts that have been warehoused per customer order

2. Operate dock locks and plates

3. Create delivery slips per shipments

4. Adjust inventories in system

5. Unload trailers with customer product to be warehoused

6. Properly place customer product in the warehouse in an orderly way

7. Communicate with the customer service department as needed

8. Routinely clean and sweep the warehouse

9. Fill in for other warehouse personnel as needed

10. Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work

process improvements— quality is the responsibility of all employees

11. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Additional knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner

2. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business

3. Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed

4. Ability to effectively work in teams

5. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people

6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles

7. Ability to operate a forklift

8. Ability to read a tape measure/ruler

9. Good mathematical skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Forklift license

Pay Rate:
Training $ 27.88
Qualified $ 29.97

Work Hours
3-2-2-3 Schedule (M, T, F, S, S, W, T, repeat)
6pm to 6am
