The Airborne RF Electronics Design Department has an immediate need for a TRIMM and Power Module Technical Lead with experience in TRIMM and Power Modules. This position is to support the Advance Sensor Programs production program in McKinney, Texas. This role will focus on leading a group of early in career engineers and experienced engineers on technical matters related to the production, test, and integration of the TRIMM and Power Modules. This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams and business units across multiple sites, including Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and various Engineering disciplines, to efficiently address and resolve matters related to the production, testing, and integration phases. You will be instrumental in supporting the Antenna and TRIMM and Module Production Design Support section within the Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP) program, ensuring the successful implementation and management of the TRIMMs and Modules that are critical to our operations.

Clearance Requirement: Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance, US Citizenship required, and AAS Program Access is required prior to the start date.

 What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of Engineers that supports operations, supply chain, and quality to achieve delivery goals
  • Provide technical support and engineering expertise particularly focusing on TRIMMs and Power Modules.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with APC engineering, operations, and management teams.
  • Knowledge of program tailoring and internal review process
  • Resolution of issues on production lines and with Suppliers
  • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
  • Conducting failure investigations and providing recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
  • Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
  • Ability to travel periodically to suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and customer sites to support programs (up to 20%).
  • Present to the program leadership and to the customer during weekly and monthly technical reviews.

 Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related STEM discipline such as Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience with RF, RF Testsets and testing, RADAR, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience leading and supporting Production and/or Test of RF modules and TRIMMs in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience generating and presenting preliminary and critical design reviews
  • Experience with analysis of technical data
  • An active & transferable US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

 Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to support multiple site locations operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and results-based production environment.
  • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • Experience with cost saving analysis and implementation related to manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive experience with TRIMMs and test
  • Extensive experience with Modules
  • Experience with PRISM, SAP, and CMES
  • Knowledge of program tailoring and internal review processes including Raytheon’s Supplier Change Request Notification (SCRN)
  • Mentor and train early in career engineers, sharing expertise in RF, TRIMM and Module test, Troubleshooting, Manufacturing Processes, and industry best practices to strengthen team capabilities.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
