You will…
- Lead projects to improve tools and processes to efficiently discover and track issues.
- Use an automation first approach to evaluate software releases and improve our release process.
- Implement a data driven methodology for issue prioritization and resolution.
- Create high quality documentation to train new team members and productionalize novel processes.
- Help drive Waabi’s safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies in your area of responsibility across all supporting teams at Waabi including Systems Engineering, Hardware and Software.
- Support the documentation and tracing of all product and system requirements to tests and their executions.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance Waabi’s behavioral evaluation capabilities, look for novel approaches, identify and apply lessons learned and ensure a detailed and comprehensive documentation that is easily accessible.
Qualifications:
- Undergrad required; Undergrad or Masters in an engineering discipline preferred.
- 4+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry experience.
- Experience with requirements and metrics for driving behavior evaluations.
- Experience with root causing complex systems in structured and unstructured testing.
- Experience with methods and standards such as STPA, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and / or UL 4600.
- Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts or data in a simple-yet-accurate manner.
- Excellent data analysis skills with modern tools such as Python or Matlab.
- Open-minded and collaborative leader who is eager to provide guidance and has the willingness to help others.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
Bonus/nice to have:
- Experience in launching a driverless product.
- Experience in the automotive self driving industry.
- Experience building software systems from scratch.
- Experience in robotics or machine learning.
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
