Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking a Treasury Technology (VP, Data & Enterprise Services) to join our NYC or Raleigh –based Data & Enterprise Services team. This is a senior hands-on engineering role focused on building and enhancing technology solutions supporting Treasury, Liquidity, and key Finance functions.

The individual will work closely with Treasury Operations, Funding, Accounting, and Product teams to develop and support critical workflows including borrowing base management, cash management, liquidity forecasts, liability booking, allocation engines, treasury dashboards, and collateral reporting.

The VP must bring strong technical depth across application development and data engineering, along with a solid understanding of Treasury processes and financial instrument behavior. This is an individual contributor role with high ownership and delivery expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build, enhance, and support Treasury technology solutions, including borrowing base engines, cash and liquidity workflows, allocation logic, and liability management tools.
  • Develop application components using .NET/C++, Python, and UI frameworks to support Treasury and Finance business processes.
  • Design and maintain SQL-based data processing pipelines, integrations, and reconciliations across Treasury, Finance, and Data systems.
  • Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to understand processes, data requirements, and calculation logic used for cash projections, borrowing availability, funding optimization, and collateral needs.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions supporting liquidity management, daily Treasury operations, and senior management visibility.
  • Troubleshoot complex data or workflow issues; perform detailed analysis across upstream data feeds, models, and system integrations.
  • Participate in refinement of Treasury systems architecture, enhancing automation, control, and operational resilience.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore engineering teams to deliver enhancements and resolve issues in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Maintain strong documentation, testing practices, and release discipline.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on Treasury, Finance Technology, or related software engineering experience within financial services.
  • Strong programming skills in .NET (C# preferred), with experience building production-grade applications or services.
  • Proficiency with Python for scripting, data processing, and automation.
  • Strong SQL experience (Snowflake, SQL Server, or equivalent), including data modeling, ETL design, and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of Treasury processes such as borrowing base calculations, daily cash positioning, funding workflows, collateral monitoring, and liability management.
  • Familiarity with financial products including loans, credit facilities, securitized products, and repo/funding instruments.
  • Experience developing UI or dashboard components (Web UI frameworks, reporting tools, or custom front-end development).
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to understand data flows, calculation logic, and business impacts.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work closely with Treasury, Finance, Operations, and technology partners.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems, fund accounting systems, or liquidity reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with allocation engines, waterfall logic, or financing facility management.
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems (Oracle ERP Cloud or EBS).
  • Understanding of enterprise data architectures and financial data models.
  • Experience supporting automation or modernization initiatives across Treasury or Finance.
  • Self-driven learner with the ability to quickly adopt new tools and technologies.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
