About The Role
The Manager, Treasury Systems has staff oversight responsibility for managing the systems and reporting components of the Treasury department and is responsible for supporting the systems used by the Treasury Department for cash forecasting activities. This includes business unit ownership of the systems by which the company manages and reports cash balances, movements in our various accounts, and maintains connectivity to our various banking partners.
The Manager, Treasury Systems reports directly to the Assistant Treasurer. This position is an individual contributor role that provides training, work direction and coaching of staff related to the various systems the Treasury team utilizes to perform daily cash operations. The manager will work closely with IT partners who support these systems, and with external partners to manage connections and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Lead staff in supporting the systems used in the daily operations of the department, ensuring smooth settlement of trades and wires and oversight of the daily cash position.
- Responsible for project management treatment of certain activities of the department, including coordinating and triaging external department service needs, as well as internal Treasury projects.
- Act as primary interface with the Finance Projects Portfolio Group
- Utilizing quantitative data sources and Treasury technology, support staff in preparing the daily, weekly, and yearly cash forecasts, ensuring forecasts are based on replicable activities, actual to forecast variances are reviewed, and forecast improvement opportunities are evaluated and implemented.
- Lead staff in the design, change, and utilization of the Treasury Workstation
- Oversee the preparation of value-added analysis to support Treasury & Finance decision making in support of liquidity, debt, capital and bank & broker dealer relationships as well as reporting results and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control narratives related to the Treasury systems’ functions with accuracy and completeness.
- Acts as back up to other supervisors and managers within Treasury.
- Support cash management and forecast efforts interacting with many different levels of management.
- Assist in the design and change or the utilization of systems within Treasury (SAP TMS, SAP LRP, and bank portals).
- Provide for and support a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data, and accountability.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE experience working at a Financial Services or Insurance company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT Management or related field
- 7+ years related professional experience in finance/treasury required
- Significant experience with automated Treasury Workstations and GL systems, SAP TMS and LRP a plus.
- Project management experience preferred. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent team-building skills, with the ability to recruit, retain, coach and mentor top-quality staff
- Effective at bridging between business needs and technology solutions
- Ability to establish goals, structures and processes necessary to implement strategic vision
- Project Management skills; strong sense of order and organization, can track critical details and keep projects moving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- A passion for new challenges, leadership and delivering results
- Strong intuitive and analytical skills; ability to produce flowcharts and depictions of processes or events
- Gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable steps to improve performance and optimize results.

Work Location
If the position is based in one of Corebridge Financials' hub offices which are Houston, TX, Jersey City, NJ. or Woodland Hills, CA office the role is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely. However, we are open to considering full remote candidates outside of these areas.
